Marsh Earns Third EPAC Pitcher of the Week Award

第一吃瓜网nical Community College softball player Abby Marsh (Cape Henlopen High School) earned her third Eastern Pennsylvania Athletic Conference (EPAC) Pitcher of the Week award this season based upon games played April 6-12. The award was announced April 13.

Marsh, a freshman, started three games and went 2-1 for the week. She pitched 13 total innings, allowing only seven hits and two walks while striking out 32 batters. Victories came against Sussex County Community College by scores of 12-0 and 12-2. The loss was a 4-3 defeat to Mercer County Community College.

At the time of this award, Marsh was second in the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Region 19 Division II in ERA (2.13) and strikeouts (80) and her average of 10.63 strikeouts per seven innings led all pitchers.
