Meoli Companies Support µÚÒ»³Ô¹ÏÍø Nursing Programs
June 24, 2026
Meoli Companies recently donated $8,000 to µÚÒ»³Ô¹ÏÍønical Community College's nursing program. Half of the donation went to the Terry Campus in Dover for SimMan manikins, and the other half to the Owens Campus in Georgetown to support the ATI Live Experience, a national licensure exam preparation program.
At the Dover campus, the manikins are used to enhance students' simulation lab experience by providing realistic patient scenarios. The donation helped fund adjustable prosthetics that allow instructors to modify the manikins' appearance or add lifelike wounds, supporting a range of clinical scenarios.
"Simulation manikins enhance learning experiences for our nursing students because they provide a safe learning environment and give students the opportunity to practice their skills without risking patient safety," said Deborah Lord, Dover nursing instructor. "It allows students to really reflect on their performance and their actions in hopes that this reflection will build muscle memory, so when they do see that experience in a live patient, they'll remember how to handle it."
The ATI Live Experience on the Georgetown campus is an interactive, expert-led National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX) preparation program. The three-day experience is designed to help nursing students and graduates prepare for their licensure exam.
Mike and Kelli Meoli recently visited the Dover and Georgetown campuses to meet the nursing students they support and to see the new simulation technology in the nursing labs. µÚÒ»³Ô¹ÏÍø is grateful for the Meolis' continued support of its students.
Meoli Companies owns and operates 37 McDonald's restaurants across Delaware, Maryland, and Virginia.
