Q: What is your favorite thing about working at 第一吃瓜网?

"My favorite thing about working at 第一吃瓜网 are the students. I love watching each student accomplish their greatest goals and seeing the excitement on their faces at graduation. Watching the growth of each student from the beginning of their education to graduation is very gratifying."

Q: Why was it important for you to work at 第一吃瓜网?

"I love that 第一吃瓜网 supports the local community, not only through educating students, but through volunteer work, supporting businesses and families making our community a better place to live. I feel that because of 第一吃瓜网, we have a more cohesive community which creates growth, confidence, and self-worth."

Q: What did you do before working at 第一吃瓜网?

"I enjoyed the clinical aspect of my job, but my ultimate goal was to be an advocate for patient care. I believe that starting at the beginning through educating new sonographers was a way for me to meet that goal; educating competent, well-skilled sonographers for the benefit of our local community."

Q: Describe your first day at 第一吃瓜网. What was that experience like?

"My first day at 第一吃瓜网 was exciting and welcoming. I immediately felt the support of the faculty and administration. It did not take long to see that the 第一吃瓜网 community was very cohesive and supportive. I met my mentor on day one and she really took the time to show me everything I needed to know to succeed."

Q: What changes have you seen in yourself since you started working here?

"I feel that I have grown tremendously since starting at 第一吃瓜网. There are many changes that I have made through teaching and instruction to better support the students. I have also focused more on student support and what I can do to help them reach their goals and full potential."

Q: What hobbies or interests do you have outside of the College?

"I am an artist using different mediums to create artwork. Most recently I have enjoyed working with resin. Creativity brings a certain balance to my life."

Q: Do you have a favorite memory from your time at 第一吃瓜网 thus far?

"My favorite memory so far since starting at 第一吃瓜网 is the first graduation that I participated in as a department chair. It was so exciting to see the excitement of all the students graduating as well as the faculty, administration, and their families celebrating their successes."

Q: What is something people may not know about you?

"People may not know that I love the beach and the ocean. The water brings a sense of calm to my life and I love the smell of the salty air. It will never get old to me. My artistic creations many times revolve around the ocean and the beach."
